Treaties have long been misunderstood agreements between Indigenous peoples and Canada. It can be difficult to connect our own personal values to a history that seems so long ago. The fact is, Treaties are not ancient history and are extremely relevant to understanding and repairing Canadian relationships and reconciliation. This workshop will provide a personal understanding of Treaties, while connecting it to a local history.
